Guiverno Records was founded in Figueres (Spain) as a gesture of permanence: the cassette release of dungeon synth and black metal works selected for their affinity and conviction. We do not aspire to abundance; we produce limited runs because we prefer the rarity that endures over time. Tapes arrive at the label's workshop and are transformed there through assembly and numbering, as well as being enriched with conceptual elements linked to the universe of each album: an ancient key, a residual texture, a unique detail... Thus, it ceases to be just an audio support and becomes an extension of the work itself. We believe that the underground is the territory where it is still possible to decide the exact form of an artistic work and an ideal environment to nurture the artist and their music, which is why we dwell in the shadows with rigor and patience.
