Concept and sound
Chronicae Ultimae Lucis brings together Vespermort’s first three works in a trilogy centered on nature and the transition from light into darkness. Each demo represents a different stage of this cycle: the forest and the stillness of winter, the arrival of twilight, and finally, the disappearance of the last light beneath the mist.
Musically, Vespermort combines dungeon synth and dark ambient through synthesizers, melancholic melodies and extended atmospheric passages.
